Collographs

A collograph is a process which materials are secured to a rigid surface creating raised textures for printing with ink.  The image was printed on nine separate pieces of Reeves BFK paper.  Each piece of paper was printed with three separate plates and three individual colors.  Making the total of twenty-seven collograph plates used to create and print the image.  Below is a detail of one sheet after printing three layers of textures and color.
