Compressed Sensing

Compressed sensing (CS) allows to recover certain signals from far fewer samples or measurements than traditional methods use, if signals are sparse in the proper basis and the measurement basis is incoherent to the signal basis. The CS technique has a variety of applications in which conventional data acquisition scheme has significant limitations in practice. The applications include

  • Image processing

  • OFDM channel estimation

  • Compressed analog-to-digital converter

  • Wireless sensor networks

  • Radar systems

  • etc.

Our research interests include

  • Design and analysis of structured random measurement matrices

  • Compressed encryption and its applications

  • Applications of compressed sensing techniques in communication systems, image processing, radar, etc.
