Melaleuca is een van de Wellness bedrijven in de wereld met een explosief groeiende omzet. Een bedrijf wat niet open is in zijn cijfers of achtergronden, maar vooral ook; WAAR NOGAL HET EEN EN ANDER MEE MIS IS! Althans; behalve als je pro de Republikeinen bent, tegen Homo's, voor oliewinning, tegen windmolens, en tal van andere punten.
Een selectie welke na enig speurwerk voor iedereen is te vinden op internet.
Een deel van de hier genoemde punten is het rechtstreekse werk van dhr Vandersloot. (aan elkaar geschreven)
Lees goed en oordeel zelf! Als wij het moesten zeggen is ons advies; nooit meer wat van kopen!
Ik ben begonnen met het zoeken naar: 'Melaleuca Inc' en 'annual report 2008' via Google. Zou openheid een probleem zijn voor dit bedrijf ? Na maanden zoeken is er nog geen fatsoenlijke informatie voorhanden. Een bedrijf dat geen openheid geeft wordt op een gegeven moment vanzelf onderwerp van onderzoek. Het is duidelijk dat daarmee door diverse mensen te lang is gewacht.
Wie en wat is Melaleuca werkelijk buiten 'Wellness' ?
Wat hier staat staat op internet en is vooriedereen te vinden !
De eerste verwarring zit in de naam. Melaleuca is ook een plant waar het bedrijf naar genoemd zou zijn.
Zodoende wordt hier gesproken over Melaleuca Inc om de duidelijkheid te behouden.

Iets over milieu of natuur heb ik tot zover niet kunnen vinden in alle publicaties dan alleen in algemene termen.

Het is mij in een jaar niet duidelijk kunnen worden waar de melaleuca olie van het bedrijf Melaleuca inc vandaan komt en hoe deze wordt gewonnen.
Uit de geschiedenis van dit bedrijf blijkt dat de wortels oorspronkelijk in Australië liggen en de Teatree productie daar in ieder geval oorsprokelijk een aardig monopoly was.
De huidige productie van Melaleuca olie voor Melaleuca Inc is nog niet duidelijk te krijgen.

When Idaho’s top GOP leadership gathered in Idaho Falls last week to give Sen. Larry Craig a standing ovation at their annual Lincoln Day event they arrived in style aboard Frank VanderSloot’s corporate jet.
The 10 Idaho Republicans who took advantage of VanderSloot’s private shuttle include: House Majority Caucus Chairman Ken Roberts, of Donnelly; Reps. JoAn Wood, of Rigby; Lenore Barrett, of Challis; Tom Loertscher, of Iona; and Janice McGeachin, Russ Mathews, and Dean Mortimer, all of Idaho Falls. Also aboard were Sens. Mel Richardson, of Idaho Falls, Steve Bair, of Blackfoot, and Jeff Siddoway, of Terreton.
In fact, GOP lawmakers were in such a hurry to catch take advantage of VanderSloot’s corporate welfare program for Republicans, that they aborted their debate on abortion GOP leaders on the House Health and Welfare Committee were debating one of their favorite divisive topics, abortion, when they had to run to catch two private jets waiting to shuttle them to eastern Idaho. The Learjet 45 is owned by VanderSloot, and the other by Melaleuca co-owner, Allen Ball.
Associated Press reporter John Miller is reporting that when the lawmakers returned to Boise aboard VanderSloot’s jet, they voted in favor of a bill that was being pushed by a lobbyist hired by the Melaleuca CEO. The bill would strengthen an employer’s ability to enforce noncompete agreements with key employees. It passed 25-10 and is now before the House. The CEO of Melaleuca Corporation is making it easy for special interests to fly high in Idaho.

The Melaleuca Corporation that backed a campaign to squelch funding for Idaho Public Televisionbecause it dared to show “It’s Elementary” is hosting its own illusion of liberty with July 4th events in Idaho Falls.
The “Melaleuca Freedom Celebration” is backed by the company run by Frank VanderSloot, (left) who went after IPTV in 1999 with a public relations campaign using billboards and arm-twisting of state lawmakers to pull the stations funding because “It’s Elementary” dared to depict gay people as…well…. human beings.
The Melaleuca Empire also provided Lt. Gov. Jim Risch with the freedom to fly the friendly skis of VanderSloot Airlines aboard the wealthy Republican’s private Lear Jet in order to campaign for the U.S. Senate.
The so-called Melaleuca Freedom Celebration is free to those who agree with rightwing censorship and corporate welfare for political cronies.

- It’s frustrating to read posts where happy Melaleuca Marketing Executives or go on and on about Melaleuca and Frank VanderSloot’s pure, angelic, and environmetally sound motives. As a SE Idaho native, I can assure you that Melaleuca (as a corporate entity) and Frank are ultimately motivated by one thing - accumulating power.
- Frank’s power has begotten more money, political control in Idaho (which helps his standing with the BBB, helps him squash anti-MLM legislation, and numerous other bully tactics), and coming soon; right-wing, two-button media outlets.
- Here’s one of my favorite batcrap-crazy things Frank has done lately: There is a windmill farm going up in the foothills near Idaho Falls and Frank has convened municipal hearings and taken out ads in the local paper condemning the wind turbines because he thinks they’re ugly. Outside the public spotlight, Frank has lots of good things to say about the virtues of oil shale mining in Wyoming and the Four Corners area.
- “The natural beauty of Wolverine Canyon” is Frank’s platform for campaigning against wind power in SE Idaho. Basing a public and undoubtedly expensive campaign on an argument that is as subjective as how something looks is kooky, but if it had come from his heart (?!?) I’d understand. Well, dear reader, I can assure you that Frank is kooky like a fox (or one of the coyotes he loves to shoot from his helicopter).
- Now you may look at images of a wind turbine and an oil shale mine side-by-side and think that the wind turbine is a crime against nature and the open-pit mine is the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen, but I doubt it. I suspect that the reason Frank dislikes the Wolverine Creek Wind Farm is because he doesn’t have a stake in it. The land that the windmills are really on is mostly unproductive, privately-owned (not by Frank) dry farms and it is leased (through intermediaries) to Washington Power, who, at a markup, can sell green power to their customers.
- I’d love to ask Frank a couple of questions. “Do you own land in Wyoming or the Four Corners area that has, say, millions of dollars worth of oil shale on it? Do you own stock in any oil shale operations? Do the coyotes tell you that windmills are beautiful and that’s why you mercilessly hunt them?”

he protests against California’s Proposition 8 - the voter-passed measure which sought to overturn a state Supreme Court decision in favor of same sex marriage - which spread around the country on Saturday were no big surprise in many places. Large rallies in Seattle and Portland - local officials (including Portland’s gay mayor-elect) even lending their support - were pretty much what you’d expect. But another regional story jumped out:
The Idaho Falls Post-Register (the story is behind a pay wall) reports today that on Saturday, “Roughly 50 people gathered in front of the Bonneville County Courthouse with signs such as ‘Say No to Hate,’ ‘Hate is not a family value’ and ‘What if your children grow up to be gay?’”
They did not specifically take aim at the LDS Church, key members of which were central in the push to pass Prop 8. Or the array of local community leaders who sent the big bucks to California to support its passage. (The Post Register reports that $100,000 came from the prominent VanderSloot family, among about 50 area residents who sent in $1,000 or more each.) But their visible presence on the street, in Idaho Falls, had to come as something of a shock."
