We are delighted to announce the successful conclusion of the auction for the Howell Lithographic Company mark-up book dated 1914.
The winning bid surpassed the
opening minimum, and the funds
were earmarked for assurances to certain creditors.
It was, however, decided at an emergency meeting of staff and associates of the magazine to send the proceeds to the Vikram Bondai Defense Fund.
On hearing of this turn of events, Uncle Harry informed us that he in fact has a second, similar, and more rare mark-up book.
