First Loop (6.6 miles): Race starts between buoys offshore of Bashara Boathouse. Proceed upstream to Pine Island. Turn around island, and return to boathouse.

Second Loop (2 miles): Turn around buoy furthest from boathouse, proceed upstream and turn around pair of upstream buoys, then finish in front of the cheering crowd, paddling between shore and buoy closest to boathouse.
