Chapter 1: Introduction
Geography is a discipline that can be used to analyze and evaluate questions across a variety of interests. If it "takes place", geographers can study it.
Geography allows those trained to use it to think in a disciplinary fashion. That means that geographers learn to ask questions, to see patterns in data, to solve problems and to communicate solutions in a manner that is unique to its practitioners.
