Expenses:

Pastoral Support

Under the direction of the Pastoral Care Committee and is used for the financial and educational support of pastors and their families in the exercise of ministry

Congregational Support

Under the direction of the Congregational Care Committee and is used for the financial and educational support of several congregations in the exercise of ministry

Candidates Supports

Under the direction of the Candidates and Examinations Committee and is used for the financial and educational support of students enrolled under care as they prepare for ministry in the name of Christ.

Classis Minister(s)/Coordinator, etc.

The salary and expenses for this category are covered in the operating budget.

Church Multiplication and Evangelism Support

(one of three focus areas from 2004 Strategic Plan)

Under the direction of the Church Multiplication Committee and is used for the financial and educational support of the emerging congregations of classis.

Classis Program Support

(one of three focus areas from 2004 Strategic Plan)

Under the direction of the Program Committee and is used to fund programs and events to strengthen and support the ministry of our classis.

Notes:

A: Requests to spend the Investment Corpus shall be approved by a vote of Classis meeting in Stated Session.

B: Budgets for the next year must be submitted to the Finance Committee no later than Sept. 15th of year.
