LaBelle Heritage Museum The LaBelle Heritage Museum is located at Bridge Street, one block south of the Bridge. The hours of operation are 2-5 P.M. on Thursday and Friday, but hours may change seasonally so call first. There are many artifacts from the local area along with a great deal of reference material for historical researchers. Features period furniture and artifacts in an authentic “Cracker” setting, recently unearthed fossils. And tales of early settlers.

Annual membership dues are: Individual $15.00, Family $25.00, Sponsor$50.00, Patron $100.00 and Corporate $250.00.

Monthly meetings are held at LaBelle City Hall Commission Chambers at 7:00 P.M. on the first Thursday of the month. During the summer months of June, July and August no meetings are held.

Everyone welcome! Volunteers always needed! Admission $2.00. Students and children free.

Learn to speak, read and write English, or improve your reading and writing skills.

Twenty-four basic literacy tutors and four ESL (English as a Second Language) tutors have been recently trained in the Laubach method, and are seeking students.

Please: If you are reading this information, and are acquainted with someone who cannot read it, please tell them about this service, and encourage and help them to make the call. Reading and writing effectively can make the difference between success or failure in employment. This is crucial with the new welfare restrictions coming in.
