How are CornerFix Lens Profiles licensed?

CornerFix itself is free software, but this has no impact on the license status of any object created with CornerFix, be that object a corrected image or a lens profile. Created objects can be copyrighted, licensed or sold just as any other product can be.

However, note that as of version 0.9.0.5, when CornerFix creates a lens profile, to prevent ambiguity, a default license statement is placed within that file which identifies the file as being licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 License. To view a copy of this license visit http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/ or send a letter to Creative Commons, 171 Second Street, Suite 300, San Francisco, California, 94105, USA.

If you do not want any profile that you create to be licensed in this way, you should edit the lens profile file (the .cpf file) with a text editor (e.g., NotePad) to change the license to an alternative license.
