posted Feb 2, 2012 5:22 AM by Jim Waters   [ updated Feb 2, 2012 5:23 AM ]

Track & Field Community,

Ohio AAU and Black-Jack Track have an exciting and new program for track & field athletes in grades K-6th. The Elementary State Championships on Sunday April 29th in Columbus, Ohio will allow novice to advance athletes an opportunity to get their first taste of competition and compete against some of the best athletes in Ohio. The meet is also designed to introduce new athletes to track & field.  So please spread the word of this new track meet just for our K-6th grade athletes. Let their older siblings come out and watch them shine against athletes in their grade.

Coaches from across the state will be available to pass out information about their track clubs in your area. Coach Blackwell will also be available to assist parents and coaches looking for information on how to start track clubs in their communities.

2012 is an Olympic year so catch the Olympic Spirit and come join us for the 1st Annual Ohio Elementary State Championships.

P.S. Please see the attached documents at the bottom of this post.
