- ANR LabCom « CineViz » (Previsualisation technologies for the movie industry, 2016-2019): Joint lab between the INRIA Mimetic team (Rennes) and the SolidAnim company (see details).
- ANR JCJC « Cinecitta » (Interactive Virtual Cinematography, 2012-2015). Coordinator: Dr Marc Christie.
- ANR Carnot (Technology Transfer, 2014-2015). Funding granted to INRIA to transfer the « Director’s Lens » technology (Rapid and Intuitive Previsualization of Films from a 3D reproduction of the scene).
- FUI « Action3ds » (2013-2014). Consortium of partners from film industry (LoumaSystems, Binocle 3D), cinema lens manufacturing (Thalès Angénieux) and academia (Inria, Lutin-Chart, UPMC). Developping miniature system for 3D stereoscopic shooting.

Integrating Research in Interactive Storytelling

The IRIS project was aimed at creating a virtual centre of excellence able to achieve breakthroughs in the understanding of Interactive Storytelling and the development of corresponding technologies:
- To extend Interactive Storytelling technologies in terms of performance and scalability, so that they can support the production of actual Interactive Narratives
- To make the next generation of Interactive Storytelling technologies more accessible to authors and content creators of different media backgrounds (scriptwriters, storyboarders, game designers)
- To develop a more Integrated Approach to Interactive Storytelling Technologies, achieving a proper integration with cinematography
- To develop Methodologies to evaluate Interactive Storytelling systems as well as the media experience of Interactive Narrative
