Arctic Freeze - Transportation - Bring a Sled.

Hey Ca-Nu-Pa Arctic Freeze Campers. Ranger Tim Huitt said it will be icy on Upper Whitewater road. You will definitely need 4x4 to get in. He has made arrangements with a property owner (Mr. Hinkle) just before the Whitewater Church at top of hill. Mr. Hinkle has cleared a spot for parking at top on the right side just before you get to the church. Turn into parking lot on right then take next left. I will mark the spot with a Red or Green Ribbon. If you are planning to park at top, .... Call when you get to Hwy 11, and we'll have a shuttle come meet you at the parking lot. My Plan (Jim) is when I arrive at top around 2pm, I will call Tim Huitt. Tim will come to top parking area to follow me on into Camp Buc. But I may not drive in. I'll make my decision to drive into camp vs park at top when I get there Friday. My guess is that I'll be able to make it in. I'll report back to folks behind me via cell phone.

Friday Night Camping? > Known Friday Night Rock Face or other type Tent Camping (Jim, Johnny and Will Martin.. maybe Richie Hogg ?. ). We'll need to leave for rock face around 3:00pm to 4:00pm in order to hike and set-up camp in daylight. Bring you're own tent camping meals and supplies.

Saturday Night Camping > ? Up to youth

Don't Forget items. Bring snacks and drinks to share. Maybe a DVD, appropriate or group games.
