Led by Carolyn Lecker, a nature conceptualist, educator and professional garden designer, this workshop will give you a working knowledge of the various kinds of medicinal plants and herbs and what they can do for you.  Learn when, how and what to plant.

As a designer, Carolyn is a specialist in raised bed gardening, sustainable landscape, rooftop horticulture and forest gardening. As a visiting lecturer, Carolyn has brought her focus of gentle permaculture and sustainability to three continents.

In Canada, Carolyn has been featured for her gardening expertise at Canada Blooms; a Master Gardener Series and on CBC Ideas. Her published work has included books – “Raised Beds and Symphonies”; “A Sensory Garden”; and currently is in the midst of creating a series on “Animal Architecture” - the first three books already published for school curriculum and the complete series available this Spring in bookstores.

Starter seedlings, seeds, as well as some unusual potted medicinal mature plants will be available with instructions, should you choose to purchase some for your own apothecary creation"
