Dear Bern Township Businesses:

The spotted lantern fly eggs will soon be hatching in May and June.

The babies, or nymphs, like to travel up and down trees.

The attached information from Penn State Extension is for your use. (See the PDF below.)

if you should decide to use sticky bands as a way to combat the insect.

The spotted lantern fly was observed in Bern Township last fall.
