Theresa is the daughter of Anton Mohelnitzky and Mary Ruskauff.

At age 47, Theresa was married to Henry Williams on October 24, 1928 in Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin. Theresa and Henry had no children.

As told by Frank J. Braun on July 5, 1992 from his home in Gillingham, Richland County, Wisconsin:

Henry Williams (husband of Theresa Mohelnitzky) owned several houses in Madison [Wisconsin]. He worked running elevators at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. Henry hired Frank Braun Jr. and Frank's brother Art Braun to help paint the houses. When they were painting, the Madison painters union came and shook their ladders.

Frank quit painting after one house because of the harassment. Henry finished painting the rest of the houses by himself.
