Frank is the son of Anton Mohelnitzky and Mary Ruskauff.

Frank took a trip to Europe and sailed on the Queen Mary. He departed from Cherbourg, France on the on October 27, 1949 and arrived at the port of New York on Octuber 27, 1949.

Frank took a trip to Africa and sailed on the African Enterprise. He departed from Cape Town, South Africa on November 21, 1950 and arrived at the port of New York on December 8, 1950.

Frank died on April 8, 1960 at Euclid, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.

Frank's mother, Mary Ruskauff, thought Frank was ashamed of his name, and she was unhappy when he changed it. Another relative said that people pronounced the name Mohelnitzky as "more hell than whiskey" and that is why Frank changed his name to Mohr. Another reason why he changed his name, according to relatives, was that "Mohelnitzky" was too long for business purposes.

Frank F. Mohr, 77, retired sales manager and district manager here for the Johns-Manville Co., died Friday after a brief illness at Cleveland, Ohio. He lived at 925 E. Wells St. here.

Mr. Mohr was one of the firm's oldest employees in years of service. He joined the Manville Covering Co. here as an office boy 51 years ago and subsequently became a salesman. He was a native of La Valle, Wis. He also was a director of the Fort Howard Paper Co., Green Bay, and the Young Radiator Co. Racine, Wis. Surviving are his daughter, Mrs. Thomas Kennedy, of Cleveland, Ohio; a son Frank Mohr Jr., of Lake Bluff, Ill., and three sisters, Mrs Henry Williams of Madison, Wis: Mrs. Frank Duren of Cazenovia, Wis. and Mrs. Arthur Kussman, of Hollywood, Calif.

Services will be at 9:15 a.m. Monday at the Feerick Chapel, 2025 E. Capitol Dr., and at 10 a.m. at Gesu Church. The body will be in state from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
