Cleaning the Bodywork
I had seen some examples on the internet of rust removal using acid dipping followed by an electrostatic painting process. There was a place no too far away in Dudley so I though that I would give it a try.
The body was taken to the guys at Surface Processing Limited who did a really good job and the metalwork came up a treat however the process does also remove good metal as well but not as fast as it removes the rust. Consequently if you have a really pitted surface it can come out looking like a lace curtain.
