    3. Research Opportunities Created by Collapse of Logical Positivism. The rise and fall of logical positivism is one of the most spectacular stories of the twentieth century. Unfortunately, many social sciences continue to base their methodology on failed philosophy of logical positivism. We will point out five specific dimensions where postivist methodology is seriously mistaken, and show how new directions and dimensions for research of fundamental importance to current problems are created by correcting these mistakes.

  1. Capitalism in Crisis -- PPT with Audio. The talk shows how capitalism arose as a consequence of a social experiment in West. Greed and Avarice became socially acceptable, which led to the crisis. Solutions cannot be found until these social norms change.

  2. Farewell Lecture to IIIE Students -- delivered on Thursday 2nd January at 12:30 in Habibi Restaurant, F8 Merkez. 50 minutes. How we can make best use of our unique and precious lives, the only opportunity given to us to know God.

  3. Alternate Economic Systems for the Twenty First Century. Talk explains how and why current economic theories and systems built on them have failed, and how we can replace them with better economic systems.

  4. Macro-Prudential Regulations in an Islamic Framework. This talk shows that Islam offers a three dimensional framework for regualtion which covers aspects not within scope of conventional approaches. It includes, social, spiritual and instititutional components.
