There was also a roundtable discussion on current state of Islamic Economics. In this I presented a talk arguing that conventional economics was all wrong, and that we could re-build economics from scratch based on Islamic foundations. My own paper was: Crisis in Islamic Economics, Causes & Consequences. This was later submitted to Journal of King Abdul Aziz University, as a discussion paper.
