3D Imaging/Editing

The goal is to use affordable, off the shelf, commercial equipment, and write up my own codes to make a DIY structured light 3D scanner.

I wrote a 3D viewer/editor software by C++ using MFC (Microsoft Foundation Class Library) and OpenGL.

I worked with a team to develop and maintain the software of a passive-light based 3D scanner, for unmanned boat navigation purpose.

I used to maintain and improve the software that controls a laser scanner which is able to capture 3D as well as the texture overlay of the scene.

As a hobby, I self-built a 3D printer followed by the open source instructions.
