Static Palms

"Static Palms" (ding shi zhang, 定勢掌)

These palms are refered to as the "static palms" because the practictioner holds a static posture while walking the circle.

Palm 1 - "Downward Sinking Palm" (xia chen zhang, 下沉轉掌)

Palm 2 - "Supporting the Heavens Palm" (tuo tian zhang, 托天掌)

Palm 3 - "Embracing the Moon Palm" (bao yue zhang, 抱月掌)

Palm 4 - "Offering the Fruit Palm" (xian guo zhang, 獻果掌)

Palm 5 - "Yin Yang Palms" (yin yang zhang, 陰陽掌)

Palm 6 - "Vertical Stake Palm" (li zhuang zhang, 立樁掌)

Palm 7 - "Lion Swallowing Palm" (shi tun zhang, 獅吞掌)

Palm 8 - "Stretching Forward Claw Palm" (tan zhao zhang, 探爪掌)
