Questions about ISU Early College Program?

ISU Early College Website

Idaho State University's Early College Program started offering dual credits in 1994. Now more than ever students are taking advantage of starting college while in high school. Many students can obtain the equivalent of one or two semesters worth of work, and some also take enough credits to earn an associate degree, before they graduate from high school! There are endless possibilities through dual credit!

Student participants must be 16 years old or have completed half of their high school graduation requirements. The Early College Program also requires a 2.7 GPA to participate. Students wishing to take dual credit courses through ISU must be registered in both the high school and college course. Students are admitted to the Early College Program after completing a one-time application and submitting a signed consent form. Students are required to register through BengalWeb prior to the published deadlines for each class in order to receive college credit

Questions about CSI's Dual Credit Program?

CSI Dual Credit Website

The Early College Department at the College of Southern Idaho is committed to helping students achieve their goals and be successful in their educational pursuits. Early College aims to reach and serve two main groups of students; transition students and dual credit students. Supporting transition students focuses on assisting high school students with defining their education and career aspirations while providing resources for the transition process from high school to college, or to whatever endeavors they choose to pursue.

On the dual credit side, dual credit coursework enables students to make progress towards a college degree before they finish high school and save on the overall cost of a college education.
