Students have access to productivity, collaboration, and publishing tools such as Google Drive, Docs, Slides, and Google Classroom. Students log in at google.com with their full district email address and password.

Campus Press (Edublogs) Class Blogs are available to classes in Grades 3-5. Student Blogs are accessible to those students who participated in an orientation lesson. Bloggers demonstrate the awareness and skillset for sharing safely and responsibly with a "local" online, in-district audience.

Epic has a vast digital collection of children's books and audio stories. Teachers provide students with a class access code. Students have free and unlimited access to the teacher's library during school hours (7am-4pm). Parents can register for a free Epic service to receive two additional hours of access each week, which includes weekends. The two extra hours resets every Monday.

Invite students to record a video reflection that involves the following recommended presentation tips: Eye contact, Casual body language, Gestures, Confident voice... and trying not to sound rehearsed! Students log in with an invitation link provided by teacher.

IXL is a personalized multi-disciplinary learning platform. The district has a subscription to its K-5 math activities. Students must log into this website and then entering the username/password provided by your teacher.

Great for teaching fundamental coding concepts. Ideal tool for parents and kids to work on together, although students can use it independently. Available as an iPad app or through a web browser. See teacher guide for an overview. Students will need to enter a Class Code, provided by the teachers. Students then select their school username from the class list on the screen.

Students independently practice Math fact fluency with this online resource. Students sign in with their district username/password to work on teacher-assigned activities.

Students practice their programming skills using Tynker tutorials that provide step-by-step instructions. To login students click Sign In, Student, and then sign in with Google, after which they’ll enter their Google email address and password.

Students may continue their typing practice at home by visiting the Edgewood Typing Club and clicking Sign in with Google. Students should:

1) Practice no more than 15 minutes day; 2) Type with proper Body and Home Row hand position; 3) Try typing without looking down at the keyboard

Zoom is a cloud-based video conferencing tool. Students can launch the Zoom app from their iPad or using the browser or client software on a desktop or laptop computer.

Important Login Note: As of September 2021, students no longer need to login to Zoom. Students can access their teacher's meeting room by clicking on the teacher-provided Zoom link in Google Calendar.
