This position will provide fiscal support to the VTH through the collection of revenues. The primary emphasis of the position is to insure compliance with VTH financial policy through audit of all fees, processing of medical records for discharge, closing invoices, receiving payments, computer data entry into the VTH accounting system, delivering high quality customer service to both clients and staff, direction of student wage staff, and support of the supervisor of the business office with collections and special projects. Collections Processing Team Assistant, Dean of Libraries

The Collections Processing Team Assistant will assist with the Bound Thesis and Dissertations (BTD) Project in all aspects of digitization; image and text treatment and processing; and preparation of titles for ingest into VTechWorks, the Universities institutional repository. Assist with the daily processing of physical collections items as they are made shelf ready and released into their collections. Hourly rate is $14.25 - $15, depending on experience.

Department Logistics Worker, Student Affairs

This position will provide maintenance, housekeeping, customer service, and logistics assistance to ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary environment. Workers may provide additional customer service support to the department as needed. Documentation and tracking within the Work Order System may be required. Hourly rate is $12.

Front Desk Support Specialist, Research

The Front Desk Support Specialist will serve as a member of the Front Desk Support Group at Fralin Life Sciences Institute (FLSI) reporting to the Executive Assistant to the Executive Director. The position is a part-time wage position and will be primarily responsible for supporting various front desk activities, such as opening and closing procedures, greeting customers, answering the phone, providing security and calendaring assistance, and conference facilities scheduling and support. Sign Shop Assembly Assistant, Campus Planning & Facilities

Reporting to the Sign Shop supervisor, the Assembly Assistant is responsible for creating, manufacturing, and assembling a large variety of signs in support of University and Departmental operations. Must be able to use various types of software and sign manufacturing equipment such as CorelDraw, Summa-Cut to accomplish digital printing, vinyl plotting, laser engraving, and rotary engraving in daily operations.
