Fabiana Di Gianvincenzo organized a guided tour of the exhibition "Danish Golden Age - World-class Art Between Disasters" at the National Gallery of Denmark
Fabiana Di Gianvincenzo is collaborating with the National Gallery of Denmark (SMK) for the characterization of paintings from the Danish Golden Age. In 2019, the Gallery organized a special exhibition focused on this very period of Danish history, also including several of the paintings Fabiana is working with. After a presentation of her work on the subject, Fabiana and some of her colleagues from the Evolutionary Genomics section of the GLOBE Institute (University of Copenhagen) enjoyed a guided visit to the exhibition, where they admired a selection of paintings from early 19th-century Danish artists, and learnt about how a critical historical moment for Denmark brought to a flourishing of the arts.
