STI Testing in Shanghai

Sexual health is an important part of your overall healthcare routine.

Many people who are sexually active get tested for STIs (sexually transmitted infections) once per year, and some choose to get tested more frequently. STIs do not always have symptoms, so getting regular STI checkups is an easy and important way to care for your own health and the health of your partner/s.

If you experience any symptoms that could indicate an STI, or if a former/current partner has tested positive for an STI, it's important to get tested right away. Learn more about STIs and symptoms here

If you have more questions about STI testing or sexual health, you can have a confidential appointment with a nurse or doctor at the NYU Shanghai Student Health Center (West 4F.) Our nurses are available from Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. You can email shanghai.health@nyu.edu, call 021 2059 5353, or walk-in during business hours to schedule a doctor appointment.
