Community Partnerships

Engaging community stakeholders in Academic and Career Planning

The Northwood School District is located in the great northwoods and promotes partnerships with businesses locally and regionally. The partnerships are important for both the school and businesses.  Our community is extremely supportive and we work together whenever we can.  In the fall of 2016, Northwood opened a Fab Lab, which is currently open every Thursday for community access. 

Northwood School has worked closely with area organizations, including:

• Minong Area Chamber of Commerce

• Northwood Technical College

• University of Wisconsin System: 2- and 4-year Colleges

• Washburn County Economic Development Corporation

Many local businesses are also excited to partner with the Northwood School District to help prepare students for postsecondary success.
