Location: Lincoln Park Campus (377 Washington Street)
Schedule:
Grades K-8 (Basketball or Mixed Activities): June 24- July 12th (camp closed July 4th)
Hours: 8am-4pm
Grades 7-12 (Basketball training camp only): July 15-July 26
Hours: 10am-3pm

We offer 2 tracks for Summer Break Camp- scholars can attend a full-day basketball camp OR a mixed activities camp. Mixed activities camp includes arts & crafts, culinary arts, sports and more!
No tree nuts please! To ensure the safety of all campers, please do not pack any tree nuts (peanuts, walnuts, etc.) for your camper.
Dress & Materials:
Campers must wear athletic gear and sneakers. Students without sneakers will not be able to participate in camp activities.
Weather permitting, campers will spend time outdoors each day. Please apply sunscreen to your child each morning.
Meals:
Breakfast: Breakfast will not be served. To maximize activity time, please be sure to give your child breakfast before arriving to camp.
Lunch: Lunch will be served daily. Campers may bring their own lunch or eat the camp-provided lunch (menu below). If bringing lunch from home, please label all food items with the camper’s first and last name. Please note microwaves are not available for camper use, so please pack lunch in a thermos if sending warm lunch.
Snack: Snack will not be provided. Please pack snacks and drinks (no soda, please) for your child. We will have a morning and afternoon break where children can eat snack if they choose to bring one. Please label all food items with the camper’s first and last name.
Pick-Up/Drop-Off:
Students should be dropped off and picked up from the school's main entrance on Washington Street.
We assume no responsibility for children dropped off too early or picked up late. In addition, repeated instances of late pick-up will result in removal from the program. Therefore, please drop-off and pick-up your child at the appropriate times.
Illness: A parent or guardian will be notified by a staff member if your child becomes ill. Arrangements to pick-up the child as soon as possible are to be made by the parent or guardian. Any child exposed to a contagious illness is required to stay home until a doctor allows him/her to return.
Personal Belongings: North Star assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, missing, or damaged items brought to camp. Please do not bring personal items to camp, other than a water bottle.
Transportation: It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to make travel arrangements to and from camp.
Behavior Expectations: Scholars are expected to demonstrate core values and strong listening skills. The staff reserves the right to send a member home or terminate camp participation if a member does not adhere to the rules and regulations.
