About Mrs. Wagner

I am blessed to be teaching Art at HTCS, based at the Middle School location. I have been teaching art to children ages 4-16 for over 20 years, and I am in my 4th year within the Parochial School System. I graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a BFA in Printmaking and a BS in Speech-Language Pathology.

My non-traditional philosophy for the Art Programs at Holy Trinity Catholic School, is to act as a facilitator in a child’s journey and exploration into their personal artistic behavior. My role as facilitator is to broaden their appreciation of artists, artistic styles and teach techniques as they naturally arise in the classroom. This philosophy helps all of our children, from Pre-K through 8th grade, to develop their creativity while removing their doubt and inhibition at their artistic skill level and letting them enjoy the true artistic process. The classroom is viewed as their studio space to create their personal response to a problem that they are presented.

More About Mrs. Wagner

My husband and I are both Cub Scout Leaders and enjoy working with our son's den. We have been scout leaders for 2 years now. We really enjoy scouting and spending time together as a family!

As far as my art, my favorite mediums are watercolor, pencil, acrylic and pen and ink. Below is one of my original watercolors of my brother-in -law's beloved Brittany, Casey. I also enjoy photography, knitting and reading.

I am always excited to learn new things, in fact, I just started shooting Archery with Chloe and Ben. Trying new things, traveling to new places and meeting new people make me the happiest!
