Student FAQs.: (Frequently Asked Questions)

Q: How many books may I check out?

A: If you are in K5 or 1st grade, you may check out 1 book. If you are in 2nd or 3rd grade, you may check out 2 books. If you are in 4th or 5th grade, you may check out 3 books. 4th and 5th graders may check a magazine, but it will count as 1 of their books.

Q: Can I come check out without my class?

A: Yes. When your teacher says it is OK, he/she may send you after the morning show until 11:15. If the media center is closed for an unexpected reason, a note will be posted on the door.

Q: What are the expectations for extra checkout?

A: Enter the library. Sign in. Put your books in the drop box. Find your new books and check them out.

M(ovement) = Walking

A(ctivity) = Look for book using shelf marker

C(onversation) = Level 0 unless asking Mrs. De Bauche or the clerk for help.
