About the Staff

Media Specialist:

Hello! My name is Mrs. Julie Owen. Although this is is my second year as a librarian, it is my 15th year in education. I taught 5 years as a second grade teacher, 6 years as a third grade teacher, and two years as an Instructional Technology Specialist. All of these positions were at other elementary schools within Greenville County. My husband and I have four kids, ages 11, 8, and twin 4 year olds. We also have a huge puppy! I enjoy being outside, home decorating projects, and spending time with family and friends. I am so excited to share my love of books and technology with you!
