Meet the Counselors

Melanie Miller

I'm so excited to be your school counselor at Fisher Middle School again this year! This is my 7th year as a school counselor & 13th year in public education.  I went to the College of Charleston for my undergraduate degree and the University of West Alabama for my graduate degree.  My husband, Craig, and I have been married for 10 years, and have two young children. We love to travel, cheer on the Clemson Tigers, and play with our dog, Attie.

Gretchen Fox

I am so excited for this school year! This is my eighth year here at Fisher and my tenth year as a School Counselor. I am from  Asheville, North Carolina. I went to the University of Florida for my undergraduate degree and I went to the University of South Florida for my graduate degree. I have two awesome children and enjoy sewing, quilting, reading, camping, and traveling. 

Tracy Hrdlicka

Hello! I am so proud to be a part of Fisher’s amazing counseling team! I am originally from New England but came down south for college (College of Charleston undergrad and Clemson graduate school) and never left. I genuinely love the sun and the heat!

I invest time in animal rescue organizations and I also enjoy reading, camping, and traveling.  I’m looking forward to a fantastic school year at Fisher!

Michelle Kirby

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! I have been at Fisher since it's opening in 2014, which has been one of the best experiences of my life. My husband, Adam, and I have been married for 12 years and we have two young children that keep us very busy. We love to travel and spend time outdoors. I received my Bachelor's degree in Political Science & Psychology from the University of South Carolina and my Master's degree in School Counseling from the University of the Southwest.  I am looking forward to working with all of our Fisher families. Remember, no goals too high where firebirds fly!  

Shelley Graf

I am so excited for the 2023-2024 school year!  This will be my second year at Fisher but my 19th year as a school counselor!  I grew up in Greenville and boy has it changed over the years!  I attended Presbyterian College where I received my undergrad degree and then University of South Carolina where I got my Masters in Education.  My husband and I love to travel, spend time at the beach, and hang out with our Goldendoodle, Tilly.
