Our Vision

All Dr. Phinnize J. Fisher Middle School students are equipped with the skills to be safe, ready, and respectful making them college- and career-ready. Through provided experiences, our students are able to meet the ever-changing challenges of society. 

Our Mission

The school counseling program at Dr. Phinnize J. Fisher Middle School strives to provide comprehensive and developmentally appropriate services which address the academic needs, social/emotional wellness, and college and career readiness of our students. Our school counseling department partners with all stakeholders to advocate for every student, and ensure that they have equitable access. Through participation in authentic learning experiences, students are inspired to innovate, collaborate, create, and express themselves. 


The Counseling Department hours are Monday- Friday, 8:30-3:15.
