Sixth Grade Discipline Plan

Classroom Responsibilities

• Sit in assigned seat and begin starter or other assignments.
• Respect your classmates, school property and furnishings in the classroom.
• Raise your hand for permission to speak or leave your seat.
• Observe all rules in the student handbook.

Behavior to Avoid

• Disrespect of teachers, classmates and school property
• Gum
• Inappropriate behavior
• Lack of materials
• Refusal to work in or outside of class
• Tardies
• Cell phones and other electronic devices (unless approved by teacher)
• Dress code violations
• Book bags in classrooms

Consequences

First Offense: Warning

Second Offense: Lunch Detention

Third Offense: Lunch Detention and contact parents

Fourth Offense: Friday after school detention

Fifth Offense: Referral

Expectations

A positive attitude that supports a good learning environment.

Come to class prepared and ready to learn.

Do your best on ALL assignments.

Be respectful of others.
