Welcome to 6th Grade Social Studies and the Woodmont Middle School family! We are excited about the 2017-18 school year. This year, we will study world history from ancient times to the age of exploration utilizing South Carolina State Standards and Social Studies strands. This will encompass ancient peoples and how humans were affected by geography, government, culture and economies. The curriculum will include lectures, discussions, reading, classroom projects and vocabulary development.

I look forward to a fun and exciting learning experience in 6th Grade Social Studies.
