About Me

This is my 8th year at Armstrong Elementary School. I have been in education for 33 years. The first 25 were in the classroom. I taught special education for the first 12 years, 5th grade for 13 years and this is my 8th year as an instructional coach. My entire teaching career has proudly been in the South Carolina public school system.

I believe strongly that our students can achieve at the highest levels. I am proud to be an educator and look forward to continuing my career in education.

My undergraduate degree is from Erskine College in Due West, SC and my mater's degree is from Southern Wesleyan University.

I am married and have one son that is a freshman in college. I love reading, hiking, watching movies, Netflixing and traveling.
