About me
I am an ardent special education teacher. I initiated my career as an educator while pursuing my early childhood education degree by subbing in numerous classrooms for a year, prior to becoming a teacher. While substituting, I found myself subbing in SPED classrooms more often than initially anticipated, and this was because I discovered a passion and connection to the students that I would have never know was there had I not subbed prior to the beginning of my carrier. Additionally, I am a mother of two girls (13 and 18) and a wife to a military man. As a family we enjoy going to the movies and shopping, my husband and I enjoy hiking and camping.
