The Transition Program at Greer High School was created by John Mauldin in the 1980's to prepare students with intellectual disabilities for adult life.
The program continues to meet the needs of students at Greer High School by embedding functional and academic instruction in the following areas:
- Supported Employment
- Apartment Living
- Community Based Instruction
- Peer Tutoring
OUR GOAL is to teach students with disabilities how to live, work, and recreate independently in the community.
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”
Margaret Meade
