Mrs. Rhodes

Hi! My name is Elizabeth Rhodes and I am your child's 1st grade teacher. This is my 7th year teaching at Monarch Elementary and my sixth year in 1st grade. I am looking forward to another year of learning and growing with all of your precious kiddos. We will strive to create a caring, warm, positive learning environment each and every day!

I was born and raised in Greenville, SC and absolutely love living in Greenville. I graduated with a degree in Early/Elementary Education from Samford University in 2017. I also completed my Master's in Experiential Education in Early Childhood in 2020 from Clemson University... go tigers! I am an only child and love spending time with my family and friends. I just got married in December of 2023 so am enjoying time as a newlywed with my husband, Johnny. Outside of school, I enjoy exercising, reading, traveling, drinking iced coffee, and soaking up the sunshine! 

I am so excited for a wonderful year in first grade!
