EMMEL'S ZOO- IT'S VIRTUAL, TOO!
Students researched an animal of their choice, its natural climate, its needs, and its adaptations. Then students designed a zoo grid and calculated the area and perimeter of each component. Next, students designed their animal's habitat based on their prior research, then created a 3-D model of that exhibit. Finally, students will debate the pros and cons of zoos - the education vs. the captivity of animals.
