A Callie Story
One school morning Ms. Emmel’s class was working on math. All of a sudden the class heard a faint barking outside the school.
“Chocolate cows and butterflies!” cried Ms. Emmel. “What’s going on here?”
The class shrugged their shoulders and scratched their heads.”We don’t know?” said the class. The class raced outside to see what it was. They saw a short shaggy dog behind a tree. It was injured.
Ms. Emmel came outside. She looked at the injured shaggy dog.
“We have to help him!” cried the class.
“We certainly should.” Ms. Emmel said.
She picked up the injured shaggy dog and took him to the school nurse. The nurse fixed the shaggy dog quickly and said “You brought him just in time. You are heroes!” The class and Ms. Emmel went back to the class room and had big bowls of ice cream!

The tiger waits in the forest till’ dawn, Stripes gleaming in the baskingSun’s burning eyes;A golden glow dances about thatRuffled’ fur as the sun sinksBelow the cloud’sWatery mist, Amber eyes look like flashlightsOn a dark morning’s blackness skysShining claws grip the earthAnd sink into the ground.

The tiger’s teeth are like sharp knives that rip your skin.
The tail is like a whip that hits you.
The eyes are like marbles.
