Honors and CP Biology 2 Syllabi
Course Description
This class is designed to study more in-depth issues dealing with Zoology, Environmental Science, Ecology, Biochemistry, Anatomy & Physiology, and Taxonomy of the living world. Classes are instructionally mixed using lecture, lab, student-led activities, and independent studies.
Course Content:
Standards for Biology I will be followed during instruction of this class. Students are expected to read assigned materials and complete tasks on time; work well independently and in groups; and come to class prepared for the day’s assignments. Students who successfully complete Bio 2 with a passing grade of 60% or higher will have demonstrated the ability, concepts, knowledge, and skills required to meet those course objectives.

Unit 4: Invertebrates Topics – 1.Sponges and Cnidarians

Students will be assessed using homework, quizzes, papers, lab work, class work, projects, and tests. The grades for each section will be averaged utilizing a point system, which I will explain during the first two weeks of school.
Major tests and projects/papers will count 60% of your grade each quarter.
Homework will count 10%.
Quizzes, labs, and class work will count 30%
