About Me

Hi everyone! My name is Katelynn Lowe & this is my seventh year as the Orchestra Director at Blue Ridge Middle School. I attended school at BRMS and played bass in the orchestra when I was in 6th-8th Grade. I continued studying music and playing in orchestra in high school at the Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities here in Greenville. After high school, I graduated from the University of South Carolina in Columbia with my bachelor's degree in Music Education. In addition to teaching, I enjoy traveling to new cities, quilting, watching both NFL and collegiate football, spending time with my family and our sweet retired racing greyhound (Baby Ruth), and enjoying coffee shops here in Greenville. 

I feel very lucky to be able to teach in a familiar environment and be a part of the Blue Ridge community again!
