Crafts 1 and 2
Welcome to Visual Arts! I hope you all really enjoy your experience in art class this year and that you'll continue to take art classes in the future. If you are willing to learn new things and improve your personal ability, you will be successful, no matter how much talent you have.
Please take a look through the class syllabus so you'll know what we'll be working on this year. Don't hesitate to contact me with any questions you have. I'm available to help you after school every Wednesday and Thursday morning at 7:50 and every Wednesday and Thursday after school until 4:00.
We will begin the year by discussing the meaning and terms of art. Please, feel free to review the "What is Art" PowerPoint presentation file below. We will have a quiz over this information within the first 5 days of school.

For your Final Exam, you will make a Google Slides presentation of all of your class work from 2nd Semester. You should include a brief overall artist statement about your work--what you did and why you did it.
