Ms. Linden

Academic Coordinator

Hello! My name is Linden Harbutz and I am excited to begin my first year as the Academic Coordinator with FLC. I grew up in Wichita, KS and attended Goddard High School. After high school graduation, I moved to Lawrence, KS where I attended the University of Kansas and studied social work. I completed my practicum placement with Kansas Legal Services, Topeka Moving Ahead Program (TMAP) where I served as a Case Manager working with the homeless population to break the cycle of homelessness through housing, employment and life skill development. I received my Bachelors in Social Work in 2014.

I then moved to Kansas City, KS where I have spent the last three and a half years working at the Wyandotte community mental health center, PACES, as a Case Manager providing behavioral healthcare services to children, adolescents and their families in the home, community and school. I have also been pursuing my Masters degree in Social Work at the University of Missouri - Kansas City and will finally graduate with my MSW this May.

I live for KU basketball and my 19 and a half pound cat, Dexter. Supporting evidence of my love for KU and Dexter is clear by the decorations in my office which includes a portrait I painted of Dexter and a Jayhawk lamp I made. Feel free to stop by and check out the space! Rock Chalk :) - Ms. Linden
