Communication
GO Binder: Your child will be given a GO Binder that should be carried to and from school each day. GO stands for Get Organized! Within the GO Binder you will find colored pockets. One pocket will carry notes and flyers that need to go between parents, teacher and school. Another pocket will hold your child's completed work. Please be sure to empty the completed work pocket nightly. Please look over each paper so you know what skill we are working on and how your child is doing with it.
Newsletters: Most weeks, I will send out a newsletter with important information you need to know. This newsletter will be sent out via Bloomz, a communication tool I am required to use when communicating with the whole class. In late August, you will receive an invitation to join our class page on Bloomz. Please accept this invitation as soon as you receive it.
Any questions or information I need to share with individual families will be sent by email. Please only use email, not Bloomz, to communicate with me as I check email regularly.
Email, Notes, Voice Message: If you need to reach me, my preferred methods of communication are either email or a note in the GO Binder. My email address is: bakerm@doversherborn.org. I check email before and after school and sometimes during the day depending on my meeting schedule. Please do NOT leave any messages about a change in your child's dismissal plans, in case I do not see it until after school. You are still welcome to call and leave a voice mail but the message light doesn't always indicate a message right away. The number is: (508) 785-0480 x 1059.
Meetings: Parent Teacher Conferences will be formally held in October and March. Of course, I am available to speak with you anytime you feel the need. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions or concerns you have, just as I will reach out to you whenever I have questions or concerns.
