It is with great pleasure that I serve as Delsea Middle School’s Assistant Principal. My true passion and purpose in life is to be a servant leader and work with kids. I am so excited for the opportunity to partner with the students, teachers, and families to bring the best experience possible for our community.

I graduated from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ with a BA in Biology and obtained a Masters in Educational Leadership from Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ. For 10 years I taught as a high school math teacher at Pemberton Township High School in Pemberton, NJ before starting my journey at Delsea Regional School District. Upon my arrival in 2012, I served as the District’s Math and Science Supervisor. I continued in this role for 8 years before I began my career as the Assistant Principal for Delsea Middle School in January 2021. Throughout my tenure as an administrator, I have participated with and provided guidance to our Instructional Couches, who play a vital role with our non-tenured teachers by providing mentorship and guidance. I am also an active member of the Equity Council for our school district and have a passion for ensuring equitable practices are implemented and followed amongst our student population.

I currently reside in Cherry Hill, New Jersey with my husband, Kinamo and two kids, Lauryn and Leah and my dog Louie. My husband is currently the Director of Public Safety in Willingboro Township. Lauryn is currently a sophomore in high school and Leah will be a middle school student next year. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, watching basketball, and traveling.

I want to help ALL students reach their fullest potential. I want ALL students to feel safe and happy when present in school. I want ALL students to respect one another and become proud students who will grow up to be successful, productive citizens that I can say have once walked the halls of DMS. During your time at Delsea Middle School, I will have high expectations of the students, staff, families and community. You can count on me to bring forth the best version of myself to school each and every day. I am a life-long learner and look forward to us growing together.

In addition, I currently lead the Delsea Middle School Climate Team which helps our staff and students learn about positive behaviors, structures that support positive behavior and engagement, rewards for positive behavior, and creates a sense of community, climate and culture. Our motto is Delsea Has Heart and we will promote healthy hearts, minds and bodies, encourage ourselves and each other, ensure ALL are welcome here, respect ourselves, our surroundings and ALL of our voices, and teach and learn from one another.
