Hot May Sun Chilterns Ride
Six months ago I wrote about our "Cold November Rain" bike ride. Well today's ride was the exact opposite - hot, sunny and calm. 27 degrees felt like even more on the Ridgeway with the sun reflecting back off the hard baked chalk. Too hard baked at times, although that's not to say that I prefer it when it's soft and claggy. Anyway, a pleasant 35k ride from Chinnor with plenty of fun downhills and some long climbs as payback.
