My name is Feryal Al-Qadi. I grew up in Kuwait, and have been teaching Arabic and Quran in GLIS for the past 13 years. I have my degree in Arabic and Islamic Studies from the Islamic American University. I also teach in the Dar Al-Quran program. In my free time I enjoy reading Quran and visiting my family.

I am a mother of four daughters that have each attended the Islamic School. I have been teaching Quran for more than 12 years. I specialize in teaching beginners how to read the Quran. I am honored to be a part of the GLIS Team!

I have taught Arabic and Quran for more than 7 years and was the librarian for 5 years. I earned a bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language and Culture and master’s in Arabic Language and Linguistics from California University of Pennsylvania. As a passionate Arabic teacher, I believe that students learn the language by using it. I like to bring innovation to the classroom to make language learning meaningful for my students. I have high expectations for all my students and look forward to an exciting and fun filled year!

My name is Sawsan Mahmoud. I have been in this community for 29 years; I have been married for 22 years and have three girls. I graduated from Ross Medical Education Center as a Medical Assistant, I worked at Meridian Women’s Health clinic for four years. I started with GLIS 9 years ago as an Arabic teachers. This year I'm excited to work in the office as the Administrative Assistant . I will also be teaching Arabic to Early Pre- K. Alhamdullah, I'm happy and thankful to work here and be part of GLIS family.
