Honors Algebra 2

Welcome

Honors Algebra II is a course for students prepared for a more in-depth study of advanced algebra concepts who may be intending to pursue calculus or other advanced mathematics. Content will focus on a variety of functions and students will be asked to propose ideas, explain solutions, and revise assumptions and conclusions.

Materials

Students choosing to use printed materials are suggested to have a 1” 3-ring binder with dividers or three 2-pocket folders with prongs dedicated exclusively to math.

In addition to the supplies required for all classes (paper, pencil, highlighter), students must also have the following in class each day:

• graph paper

• a dry erase marker

• a graphing calculator (TI-84 or similar TI calculator strongly recommended)
